Dr. Neha Patel pursued her Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of the Incarnate Word Rosenberg School of Optometry, where she graduated as a Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society member. She obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology.
Dr. Patel is licensed to practice in the State of Texas as a Therapeutic Optometrist and as an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist to diagnose and treat various ocular diseases as well as to co-manage glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and pre-/post-operative care for refractive surgery (LASIK/PRK) and cataract surgery patients. In addition, she prescribes spectacle lenses and contact lenses for a variety of vision needs including near-sightedness, far-sightedness, presbyopia, digital eye fatigue, and accommodative disorders.
She is an active member of the Tarrant County Optometric Society, Texas Optometric Association, and American Optometric Association. Dr. Patel is passionate in community service and is a participating provider under InFantSEE, a public health program allowing a no-cost comprehensive exam to infants between ages 6 to 12 months of age. The program ensures that eye and vision care become an essential part of infant wellness care to improve a child’s quality of life.
She enjoys travelling, spending quality time with her family and her Doberman Pinscher, hiking, exercising, and cooking in her free time.
